First Day of School

Emma was so excited to start Kindergarten!! When I went to wake her at 6:30am she was sitting on her bed and said "I was waiting for you to come and get me! She was a little nervous when I left, but had a great day. Unfortunately she got the flu that Monday night and had to miss the second day, but she got right back Wed. and finished the week great!

Although not as excited as his sister, Tay was still glad to be heading back to see friends from last year and had a good first week of school!

Daddy went in to work a little late so he could walk with us to school!
This morning was almost as exciting as Christmas!

They look so cute and grown up! We start school on Tuesday. The kids are excited. I'm pretty sad, but will be happy for a routine. :) Good thing I will be having another little one to play with during the day!

Your kids look darling! I can't believe they are so grown up now. Emma looks so tall and skinny! And Taylor looks very handsome. Lucky for you to have the day with only one kid! You probably don't know what to do with yourself!

I love the picture of Joe with all your kids--how fun that he could walk to school with all of you!

Those were some pretty funny conversations with your kids--kids crack me up!

It's fun to see your kids going to school too. I can hardly believe it sometimes. Tessa still loves it and talks about Emma still. I am glad she still has the memories. They were just so little! Tessa's most vivid memory is swimming in "Emma's big pool". Somehow Emma got ownership of the Las Palmas pool. Funny!

I don't know if I know what to do with all of these postings, Amy. You're doing them so regularly. Love the conversations and love the school pics. It seems everyone's kids are off to school. I want it to be my turn. Couple more years yet. :o)

I think Joe is a little overdressed for school. But, he always was an over achiever.
