Taylor & the carnival

Dear Grandpa,
I went to the carnival yesterday. I went on the Yo-Yo and it swung me around and around and up high. I went on a ride with my mom that went around up in the air and came back down and then went up again. The dragon roller coaster was also very fun, I went with my friend Quentin. Then I got cotton candy and I went home. I had so much fun at the carnival so I told my mom and dad thank you!!
Love Taylor
Learning to ride bikes! FYI: Very frustrating for parents! Almost as frustrating as potty training! But rewarding when they finally get it!

Tay riding his BIKE!

Emma riding her BIKE!

Rodeo Parade!!

Rodeo week is big deal here in Sheridan. We sat by friends from the ward. Joseph is sitting next to James Mathews who he grew up with in Panaca. They live here in Sheridan now too!!

New Hair Dos

I got a hair do blog from a friend and had so much fun looking at new hair dos for the girls, I put on my first two attempts. If interested there is a link to the left.

Finally Catching Up!!

I can blame my brother Jeff for my addiction to blogging the past three days. He gave me a hard time for not posting since March so I got on to make a few adjustments and here I am three days later having done a lot of blogging. I am really not blaming him, but I have caught the bug and see how it is a really good way to stay in touch with my friends and family I don't live by! Anyways, I have put things that have happened to us in the past 3 months on and hope to keep it up to date from now on! So, thanks Jeff. I really enjoy seeing all the pictures all of you post and I see how it would be nice if you could see ours too! Keep looking because I added a lot!

"KID MAGNET"

Joseph calls this our kid magnet! The kids have so much fun playing on
this! It was a very hott day today and they had a blast putting the sprinkler under it! I have a lot of fun watching them and remembering all the fun times I had with my own family on our trampoline!

Little Sluggers!

Taylor and Emma have played baseball together this summer!
They have had a really fun time doing it and have learned a lot!

Trip to Rapid City with Will, Deb and Fam

Crazy Horse! Joseph's Favorite!

While waiting to get out of the parking lot at Mount Rushmore we convinced Joseph and Will to have a push up contest! So then they challenged Deb and I to do the same! She beat me hands down, but it was a lot of fun!!

Mount Rushmore was Amy's Favorite Place!

Reptile Gardens!!

Devil's Tower

We were so glad to have William and Debbie and their family come and visit us. We all had so much fun together! I just wish we lived closer! The kids played so well and each new destination was begun by a chorus of begging to ride in each other's cars! Thanks Will and Deb for making the time to come and visit us. We enjoyed you all so much!!

Say Good-bye to Kindergarten!

Taylor loved Kindergarten and did so well! We cannot believe how much he has learned in the past year! These are some of his friends at the Social Skills Olympics they do at the end of Kindergarten. He is a very good boy and a good example to his friends.

Preschool Graduation

Emma was so close to the kids in her preschool class!
She is such a social little girl, she couldn't wait to bring us
to her school and introduce us to everyone! She will miss her friends there
but she is very excited to start Kindergarten in the fall!

May Moments

Camping out with Grandpa was a blast, but Grandpa got a little more out of the fun than he bargained for! About midnight the sprinklers came on and sprayed the tent for about an hour. The kids slept through the whole thing. Then around 6:00am when Grandpa came in after not much sleep and being quite damp, Grandma told him he couldn't leave the kids out there alone so he changed his clothes and headed back out. What a dedicated Grandpa!!

We celebrated Mother's Day early while I was in Utah! I had the privilege of going to lunch with my Grandma, Mom, and Sisters! I was truly in the presence of God. My Grandma and Mom are women of faith, strength, kindness, and compassion. I have been lucky to be trained as a mother at their feet! Thank you for the many life lessons you have taught me!

The day after the wedding we all got to go to Boondocks and spend the day together!

We had a great time, but really there isn't anything we don't enjoy doing when we are together!

These brothers are so close! They are all professional business men, spiritual leaders, and when
they get together just big kids again!

Family moments are the best! Priceless pictures with GGma were one of the highlights of the trip. Fun with cousins was another!

Kenneth and Aimee's wedding was a real treat. Thanks to Aimee's family's connections to Elder Scott we were able to meet an Apostle for the first time. It is an experience we will all treasure!

Taylor had to have a child's root canal done at the dentist.
This is actually his next visit back and all things considered he was very brave although, he doesn't like the bee sting(shot) and we did have a very hard time getting the shot down through his sobbing!

April Moments

The end of April we convinced Aunt Ashley to come and visit!
We had so much fun with you Ash. Ashley is the best Aunt any kid could ask for! Thank you for loving my kids so much!

Thank you Mom so much for coming and watching the kids while we went to California! The kids had so much fun with you! Emma cried all the way home after you left! We love you!!

Our Trip to California was such a blast!! We relaxed, shopped, and
saw phantom of the opera! Next time we hope to stay longer, but
it was so nice to get some time away together!

We started April off with April Fool's Day! I pulled out left over
chicken noodle soup and filled Taylor's bowl very full! The poor kid
hates soup and was so upset he almost started to cry. Then we said April Fool's and pulled out the real dinner, BANANA SPLITS! Mom, thanks for the idea. The kids thought it was so cool and are still asking when we get to have them again. It will only be on April 1st, but it will be a tradition to look forward to.
