Mother's Frustrations!

Do your husbands think of really creative, fun activities to do with your kids that
cause REALLY big messes?!!

As you can tell from the video below, they had a blast, but I was less than thrilled! They really stunk when they came in and had tomato seeds and juice all over their clothes and hair. However, Joseph did clean them and the yard up after so I guess it will be a fun, memory building activity, but one this mother hopes doesn't become a tradition!!

TOMATOES yikes!! Awesome Dad for cleaning them all up when done!! Oh and I love your backyard, it's incredible!!

Sorry about the snow. :) It got cold here for a couple of days and snowed but it didn't stick like that. (Yuck) But luckily its warmed up a bit the last couple of days.

I'm laughing so hard because today I was "winterizing" my garden and I thought about our tomato fights growing up. Luckily, I was the only one in the garden with no one else to reminisce about them either. THANK GOODNESS!

Good for you for letting them have some fun--even if it made you cringe a bit! They'll love to remember it.

I love your yard, too. I'm completely jealous! Someday...

One more thing to be grateful for...a father that loves he kids. Sometimes it is good that mothers and fathers are different. The kids have different things to remember. Love you all.

Amy! WoW Girl! So~ good to hear from you. Looks like you are doing well and having fun. You mentioned health issues in a previous post..? Are you doing OK? The kids look great. They are growing so much. How is Joseph's practice going? Is he happy there still? Oh I miss your sweet family. We definately need to keep in touch. You'll have to check out some of the other families on my blog list. You would know the Sorensens (melanie) and the Dodds (Krista) and the Westphals (Joanna). Thank you so much for getting into contact with me. I was so hoping to run into you some way soon! Tell all hello from us!

ACK! I'd surely freak out. At least Joe was a good boy and cleaned up! :) And yes, isn't it interesting how differently moms play with their kids as opposed to dads?
